Audrina Patridge at the Divine Rights of Denim booth - day 2 of the MAGIC convention in Las Vegas 9/1

Checking out the latest fashion trends, Audrina Patridge was spotted at the 2009 MAGIC Marketplace trade show at the Las Vegas Convention Center on Monday September 1st. Audrina looked lovely as she schmoozed with designer Rokhsan Enanoria, sporting a black scoopneck top with light blue trousers and black peep-toe heels.
For anyone wondering Audrina did not cut her hair. You can see in the photo below she just has it pulled back.

Spencer Pratt goes off on Audrina Patridge and wants to change his name to King

Spencer's idiotic ramblings of the day:

From US weekly
The Hills star, 25, tells Usmagazine.com that he is changing his name ... to "King Spencer Pratt."
"I've decided since there is a Queen of England and a Prince William that there should be a king of America," he tells Us. "I nominate myself for that role."
Pratt thinks his wife Heidi Montag deserves a royal title, too.
In a recent interview with The Hills: The After Show, he called her "the new, modern-day, 2010 Michael Jackson," who was famously known as the King of Pop.
"Michael Jackson's in heaven," he said. "The Holy Spirit now has extra Michael Jackson juice, so boom! For all we know, Heidi gets possessed with some of that Michael Jackson divine spirit."

From mtv.com
If anyone thought Spencer Pratt was going to let Audrina Patridge say his wife, Heidi Montag, wasn't serious about her music career and get away with it, they'd better think again. Pratt is firing back at his "Hills" co-star, saying he thinks Patridge is actually mad at new castmember Kristin Cavallari and not Heidi.
"I'm praying for Audrina, because I know what she's going through this season of 'The Hills,' " he told MTV News in a statement. "She is an emotional wreck from watching Kristin Cavallari and Justin Bobby fall in love on this new season."
While Cavallari said she was "really impressed" by Heidi's performance at the Miss Universe pageant, Audrina had a less sparkling critique of it. "I feel like Heidi, you know, she's doing it for fun, where a lot of singers and people, they work their ass off, and they actually have amazing voices and they can really sing and perform," she said. "I just don't think she's taking it that serious, and that's what's kind of disappointing for me, for music lovers out there."
Spencer said Patridge is just trying to get back at Cavallari by slamming Heidi and her pop-star aspirations. "Since Kristin was quoted first saying how great Heidi performed her hit song 'Body Language' in front of a billion eyes and how hard it looked like she worked to prepare for it ... heartbroken Audrina does not want to agree with anything Cavallari, who swooped Justin Bobby, has said," Pratt claimed

Lauren Conrad's stylist talks about her extensions

Kristin Ess of Warren-Tricomi Salon in LA has styled everyone from Rachel McAdams to the runway models at Marc Jacobs, but she's also known for her work on The Hills, and for Lauren Conrad's styles in particular. So when I found out that Lauren's perfectly natural-looking hair was actually Kristin's perfect extensions, I really wanted to speak with her to get the scoop about them.
You created LC's extensions and her look. How did you start out using them on her?
The thing about extensions is that you have to have the exact right kind for your hair. When I started working with Lauren, she had a thicker kind of extension, and because she went to so many events, we were styling her hair a lot. Because of the texture of her hair, though, we kept having to hide the extension if she wanted to put it into a ponytail. We always had to leave a little bit of a poof and couldn’t do a tight ponytail, either, because the extension would pop out sometimes, or you would just see a lump. We were working around the extensions, basically, instead of the hair working around us. I told her, "Listen, I really want to put my thinner extensions in your hair." She had never heard of them, but she said "OK, I trust you. Let’s do it." So, we took the thick extensions out, we put the thinner ones in, and she's never taken them out since.
I had no idea they were extensions until recently.
You know what's so funny? I do a lot of interviews about Lauren’s hair, and sometimes people are like, "What do you mean she has extensions? Oh, I thought that was her hair." Meanwhile, people don’t realize that her hair is actually about to her collarbone.
How do you keep the extensions seamless and blend in the ends when her actual length is that drastically different? That’s hard to do!
Particularly with the extensions — first and foremost is color matching. I pride myself on that, because I can color match your hair exactly. You can always see extensions when they aren't perfectly color matched. So that's one, and the other is the placement. There's a certain way that you have to place the hair, and a pattern that you put them in. To have extensions look natural, you have to leave a little bit more room in certain places and put a few closer together. The reason that the ones I use are so great is that they're in two and half inch panels, and I can basically place them wherever I want.
I've got lots more from Ess regarding extensions, from the different varieties to how to care for them. Stay tuned for the additional details of our interview to come.

Kristin Cavallari - Nylon Magazine photo shoot and interview

Faux Real
Reality show? Soap opera? Who cares? The Hills - and Kristin Cavallari - is back.
Kristin Cavallari doesn’t seem like a bitch. Sitting at a French cafĂ© in West Hollywood, gracefully sipping an iced tea, she fails to conjure the villainous, backstabbing drama queen her reputation suggests. She smiles sweetly. Laughs frequently. She even politely offers to pay for our drinks. Nonetheless, MTV has trumpeted Cavallari’s presence on the upcoming season of the absurdly popular cultural phenomenon The Hills with the slogan: “The Bitch Is Back.” Could it be that-much like the contrived conflicts of the so-called “reality show” itself- Cavallari’s persona is just…an act?
Like, duh.
The 22-year-old freely admits she’s just playing a part-happily flaunting her nasty little title like a pair of $1,000 Louboutins. “Nobody remember the nice girl, you know?” she says. “So it’s fun to play the bad girl. Like Heather Locklear on Melrose Place- she was awesome.” She has a point: Courtney Thorne-Smith, anyone?
Back in 2003, when MTV was casting for Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County - the show from which The Hills spun-off - Cavallari, then just a sophomore at Laguna Beach High, already had an innate sense of what producers and audiences craved. Her Locklear-ean potential was impossible to miss. “One of the questions was, ‘Who do you think’s going to be prom queen?” she recalls of the audition form. “And I said, ‘I don’t know, and I don’t care as long as it’s not Lauren Conrad.’ So it’s like, I know what I’m doing, and obviously they’re not going to put on some boring person that doesn’t make good TV.”
What makes The Hills so infuriatingly captivating is that we’re never quite sure if these brats we love to hate are real or fake. Do these rich and beautiful, shallow and insipid people truly exist? Do the “characters” on the show cleverly dream up their vacuous personalities, or are they simply the producer’s hand puppets?
It seems pretty clear that Cavallari, herself a devotee of such guilty pleasures as The Girls Next Door and Rock of Love With Bret Michaels (“all of those train-wreck shows”), understands the genre implicity and what’s more, knows how to manipulate her assumed facade to her advantage.
After a four-year hiatus from reality TV to pursue her thespian dream garnered mixed results (her most recent film role was in the straight-to-DVD Van Wilder: Freshman Year), Cavallari is coming home to the role that made her famous in the first place: herself.
Cavallari will be replacing her sworn frenemy since time immemorial (or at least sophomore year), the notoriously bland Conrad. Naturally, the blogs have been all ablaze with Team Lauren versus Team Kristin, each weighing in on the show’s future. But one thing Cavallari’s haters and supporters can agree upon is that her presence on The Hills will inject some much-needed drama into a show on which, as most everyone who watches it acknowledges, nothing much happens.
Of the little that does happen (jealous infighting, mostly), do the show’s fans suspect of even care if it’s not real? “Maybe some do,” Cavallari speculates. “Maybe some really want to believe that these really are our lives. It’s like any other TV show- obviously these people are playing characters, nobody really cares if it’s their real life.”
Fictional or not, the glamorati who populate The Hills must exert some kind of influence on its millions of viewers’ tastes and styles. What flyover-state-dwelling teenager isn’t vaguely curious about what it would be like to live this alluring lifestyle? Curious to hear Cavallari’s reaction, I tell her that when I interviewed self-proclaimed reality-TV junkie Diablo Cody (see page 150), Cody told me, “It’s kind of creepy that there could be a 17-year-old in Miami who is acting like Spencer Pratt because he saw it on television.”
“Yeah, I agree,” Cavallari says. “The thing is, people believe everything they see on TV: That’s what’s cool, and that’s what I need to be in order to be cool. It goes back to the pressure for girls to be skinny and everyone having an eating disorder in Colorado or wherever. It’s sad; it’s really sad.”
Still, Cavallari insists that the show isn’t her reality.
“It’s a soap opera about 20-year-olds living in L.A. with lots of money. If it was a reality show,” she says her eyes darting self-consciously down to my digital recorder on the table, “they would focus on me being an actress. You know what I mean?”

Audrina Patridge and the 'girls from Sorority Row' - interview with ET

ET is with Audrina Patridge, Rumer Willis and the rest of the stars of the fright-night flick 'Sorority Row,' in theaters September 11. Did they all get along famously, or was having a half-dozen beautiful sorority starlets sharing screen time as scary as the film itself?
"I was kind of nervous because I didn't know what to expect especially working with six girls I didn't know how it was going to be," Audrina says. "And especially coming from a reality show, but doing those scenes after meeting all the girls, I felt really comfortable. They really helped me, and we all worked together."
Briana Evigan, Leah Pipes, Jamie Chung, Rumer and Audrina play five friends whose college prank goes too far, resulting in the death of their sorority sister. Making a pact to never speak of it again, the girls learn that they can't sweep the past under the rug when a mysterious killer goes after anyone who knows their deadly secret.
"The director and the writers as well, as well as all of us being cast you really get a chance to know all the characters and how this is all affecting them," Rumer explains. "In some horror movies, it's about just seeing how gruesome it can be. The characters are really what's pushing this, and how they're reacting, and what's going on with that -- which I think really makes it a little different."

Jayde Nicole Says Joe Francis "Attacked From Behind," Wants Cops to Take the Lead

Joe Francis claims he was sucker punched. But Jayde Nicole insists it's Francis who prefers to take the cheap shots.
"Jayde Nicole was the victim of a violent assault when she was attacked from behind, thrown down to the ground by her hair and beaten in the face and body in front of multiple witnesses by a person identified as Joe Francis," her rep, Jerry Shandrew, said in a statement Monday.
Shandrew says that the Playboy Playmate will not be talking too much while authorities investigate the rumble that occurred early Friday between Francis, Nicole and her boyfriend, Brody Jenner, outside a Hollywood club. Instead, they'd rather the police be the ones making all the noise.
Noting that Nicole filed a police report immediately afterward and has been cooperating with the cops, Shandrew added, "Because of the ongoing criminal investigation of Mr. Francis, it will be inappropriate to comment further at this time out of respect for the law enforcement process."
Of course, Nicole's version of the story couldn't be any different from Francis', as he has admitted to maybe a bit of hair pulling and denied everything else.
Francis maintains Nicole poured a drink on him inside Guys and Dolls that night, and, in turning around, he may have grabbed her hair.
He told E! News Friday that, after security had helped him get outside, it was an unprovoked Jenner who hit him in the face. "He coldcocked me," Francis said. He threatened legal action against Jenner afterward for accusing him via Twitter of beating on Nicole.
But according to Nicole's rep, there is photographic and video evidence of Francis attacking her, not to mention hospital records of her injuries.
"It is the hope of those who love and care about Jayde that Mr. Francis will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law," Shandrew said.
Los Angeles Sheriff's Lt. LaJuana Haselrig confirmed to E! News Friday that a report had been filed and the incident was under investigation. "Nothing can be determined until the investigators get the report and can review it," she said. "Right now we only have bits and pieces of it."
A U.S. Attorney's Office rep said it was too soon to tell whether the incident could land Francis back in jail while he awaits the Oct. 14 start of his trial on federal tax-evasion charges.

I don't know how you guys feel about this but I'm getting tired of this story being rehashed over and over again, this is the last time I'm going to cover it unless the police file formal charges.
